R-454B 20 lb Refrigerant Tank – HVAC Cooling Service Use

This sealed 20 lb cylinder contains R-454B, a lower-GWP HFO/HFC blend selected for many new residential and light-commercial air-conditioning and heat-pump systems. It is intended for equipment engineered, labeled, and safety-certified specifically for R-454B.

R-454B is not interchangeable with R-410A. New R-454B equipment incorporates refrigerant-specific components, charge limits, service ports, leak-mitigation features, installation rules, and A2L service requirements.

Compatibility and safe handling

Use only in systems whose data plate specifies R-454B. Do not use it to top off or field-convert an R-410A system unless the equipment manufacturer provides an explicit approved procedure.
Use only as R-454B; never mix refrigerants or use it to top off a system containing a different refrigerant.
R-454B is classified A2L and is mildly flammable. Trained personnel must control ignition sources, provide ventilation, follow charge limits, and use A2L-rated recovery and service equipment.
Follow the equipment manufacturer’s instructions and the product label. Review the applicable safety data before storage, transport, recovery, or charging.
