R-422D (MO29) Refrigerant 25 lb Cylinder – Premium Quality HVAC/AC

This sealed 25 lb cylinder contains R-422D, also known as MO29, an HFC blend used in selected R-22 direct-expansion refrigeration and stationary air-conditioning conversions. Typical approved uses can include low- and medium-temperature commercial refrigeration, stationary DX A/C, and water chillers.

R-422D can be compatible with several lubricant types used in R-22 systems, but a retrofit is still a complete service procedure. The system must be evaluated for capacity, oil return, seals, controls, and charge requirements.

Compatibility and safe handling

Use only in an R-422D system or a documented R-22 retrofit approved for R-422D; recover the original refrigerant before charging.
Use only as R-422D; never mix refrigerants or use it to top off a system containing a different refrigerant.
R-422D is classified A1, but the pressurized blend requires trained handling, adequate ventilation, leak control, and approved recovery and charging equipment.
