R422B NU-22 Refrigerant 25 LB – For Compatible HVAC Systems

This sealed 25 lb cylinder contains R-422B, also known as NU-22, an HFC blend used as an R-22 alternative in selected air-conditioning applications. It is intended for professional service and retrofit work where R-422B has been approved for the specific equipment.

R-422B can work with lubricants used in many R-22 systems, but every conversion must still account for system design, oil return, capacity, seals, controls, and the manufacturer’s charging recommendations.

Compatibility and safe handling

Use only after recovering the existing refrigerant and confirming that the complete R-22 system is suitable for conversion to R-422B.
Use only as R-422B; never mix refrigerants or use it to top off a system containing a different refrigerant.
R-422B is classified A1, but it is stored under pressure. Use ventilation, protective equipment, leak detection, and approved recovery and charging tools.
Follow the equipment manufacturer’s instructions and the product label. Review the applicable safety data before storage, transport, recovery, or charging.
