R-421A Refrigerant 25 lb Cylinder – Premium Industrial Grade HVAC

This sealed 25 lb cylinder contains R-421A, an HFC blend used in selected air-conditioning and heat-pump conversions from R-22. It is intended for professional retrofit work after the existing system has been inspected and confirmed suitable for R-421A.

Performance and required adjustments vary with equipment design and operating conditions. A qualified technician should review capacity, lubricant return, elastomers, metering device, pressure controls, and charging guidance before converting the system.

Compatibility and safe handling

Use only in an R-421A system or a documented R-22 retrofit approved for R-421A; do not add it on top of an existing R-22 charge.
Use only as R-421A; never mix refrigerants or use it to top off a system containing a different refrigerant.
R-421A is classified A1, but cylinder and refrigerant handling still require ventilation, eye and skin protection, leak control, and approved recovery equipment.
