This sealed 25 lb cylinder contains R-407A, an HFC blend used in approved low- and medium-temperature commercial refrigeration. It can also serve as an R-22 alternative in selected systems when a qualified professional follows a documented retrofit procedure.

A successful conversion depends on system design, operating conditions, lubricant, elastomers, controls, and charge method. Review the equipment manufacturer’s guidance and record the new refrigerant on the system after an approved retrofit.

Compatibility and safe handling

Use in equipment designed for R-407A or in an R-22 retrofit only after the complete system has been evaluated and approved for conversion.
Use only as R-407A; never mix refrigerants or use it to top off a system containing a different refrigerant.
R-407A is classified A1, but it is a pressurized blend. Recover the existing charge, repair leaks, evacuate the system, and charge according to professional procedures.
