This 30 lb R-134a cylinder provides service refrigerant for cooling equipment that is designed or formally approved for HFC-134a. R-134a is a single-component HFC widely used in selected mobile air-conditioning, refrigeration, appliance, and chiller applications.

Use the equipment data plate and service documentation to confirm R-134a before purchase. System lubricant and service fittings must also match the manufacturer’s requirements; some refrigeration applications use POE lubricant while other applications may specify a different approved oil.

Compatibility and safe handling

Use only in equipment identified for R-134a or covered by a documented, manufacturer-approved conversion procedure.
Use only as R-134a; never mix refrigerants or use it to top off a system containing a different refrigerant.
R-134a is classified A1, but liquid refrigerant can cause frostbite and vapor can displace oxygen. Service should be performed by qualified personnel with suitable recovery and charging equipment.
